Calling All Amazing Teachers: NEC Co-op Wants to Help!
If you’re a teacher and member of NEC Co-op Energy, we’d like to help ease the financial burden of supplying your classroom. Through our Supply-A-Teacher program, you may be awarded a $500 to $2,500 grant to benefit your classroom and students. See official rules below.
In addition to the school supply grant, the teachers awarded will be recognized on our social media page, website, Texas Co-op Power magazine, with personal recognition at our NEC
Co-op Energy headquarters this fall.
To be considered for the grant, please apply by September 29, 2023. This application is now closed. Winners are listed below.
Rules:
- Must be an NEC Co-op Energy member and able to provide your account number
- Must be the account holder, spouse or dependent who resides in the household
- Must show proof of residence: Bill, Driver’s License, School Documents, etc.
- Must provide proof of current school educator status (School ID Badge or other documentation)
- Online applications of interest will open July 31st
- Online application will close September 29th
- Awarded recipients will be notified the first week of October
- All entries are subject to verification
All online application submissions will be reviewed by NEC and then placed into a raffle for prize selection.
