On April 27th, we joined Agape Ranch to help their initiative in providing a necessity often taken for granted: a bed. For some, it’s not just a piece of furniture; it’s a safe place, where comfort wraps around a child, and where hope is nurtured.

Too often children find themselves sleeping on couches, makeshift pallets, or even bare floors. This not only impacts their physical health but also their happiness and sense of security.

Agape Ranch has made it their mission to be a beacon of hope for these children. Through their Bed Build events, they’ve brought like-minded people to create a safe, comfortable sleeping space for those in need.

At this event, we witnessed the power of community coming together. Volunteers from all walks of life, regardless of their building skills or experience, joined forces. Guided by station leaders, all NEC Co-op Energy volunteers formed assembly lines, transforming lumber into beds with love and dedication. Agape Ranch’s goal this year is to build sixty twin-sized beds.

To all who joined us on April 27th, whether swinging hammers, offering support, or spreading the word, thank you.

Together, we’re proving that a simple act of kindness—building a bed—can transform lives and build brighter futures. 🌟
