Severely Burned Veteran’s Credit

Thanks to Senate Bill 981, we’re able to help severely burned veterans reduce their summer electric bill with a $50 credit for the months of May to September.

To get started, download and fill out the Severely Burned Veteran’s Credit Application and submit to:

Veterans status verification can be submitted to NEC Co-op Energy up until April 26 of any year for a credit that calendar year. Any verification received after April 26 will be credited beginning the following calendar year if the account is still active. Please do NOT email. Verification is only required one time and will be kept on file. If a NEC Co-op Energy Member who is a veteran cancels their NEC Co-op Energy Services and then returns later and rejoins NEC Co-op Energy, proof of military service may be requested again. Credit eligible for one active residential membership only.
