Latest Update from the NHC (08/19/22 @11:40 am) The tropical wave currently in the southwestern Gulf of Mexico now has a 60% chance to develop into a tropical depression either later today or Saturday. NEC Co-op Energy will continue monitoring the development of this disturbance and as we receive more information, we will update our members. Please visit the NEC Co-op Energy for storm preparedness tips and up to date information. We encourage our members, especially those on life support or those taking care of someone on life support, to prepare for the possibility of extended outages.
