On February 20, 2024, NEC Co-op Energy extended its support to four local charities – the Boys and Girls Club of Coastal Bend, CASA of the Coastal Bend, Educating Children’s Future Community Center, and Triumph Over Kid Cancer – by presenting checks to support their initiatives. This contribution represents another step forward in our ongoing dedication to promoting positive change and community development.

Grants are distributed via our Operation Round Up Program, where members opt to round up their electric bills to the nearest dollar. Members are never charged more than $0.99 per account each month. We extend our sincere appreciation to our members for their generous contributions in backing local charities and nonprofits.
